From the inception of the church on the day of Pentecost, it has been a primary task of believers to testify about the Christ. With this spirit in mind, local and worldwide missions have been at the heart of Grace Fellowship from the very beginning. As a part of our philosophy of ministry we pledge a minimum of 10% of our church’s income to missions every year. These funds are used to support full time vocational missionaries as well as short term teams and projects. I personally have had the privilege of teaching and training church leaders in Papua New Guinea, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, India, and Pakistan. We send teams every year to Haiti to train pastors, complete construction projects, facilitate Children’s Bible programs and support Christian education. I am proud of the passion we have for missions locally and abroad. God alone can change lives, but He uses each of us in unique ways to accomplish his work. As James reminds us, “the effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish
much” (James 5:16).
